It all started in 2019, at the Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana where Jhonny worked as a cook. That November morning he made an omelet for him at breakfast and Daniel looked up and said “Hello” to him with his big, beautiful eyes. They exchanged social media profiles and polite greetings for a while. They knew that Daniel was returning to Canada and neither believed much in long-distance relationships.

Months passed and the Covid pandemic arrived and once again, they began to write to each other and get to know each other more and more. One was locked up in the Dominican Republic, the other in Quebec. They took advantage of this time to form a love relationship during the quarantine. As soon as he was able to travel again, Daniel returned to Punta Cana at the end of the year in 2020, and it was already clear what they felt. He began to travel every three months to be together and in December 2021 they got engaged on the beach in Samaná.

Then began the questions: Where and How to get married? It was a big dilemma because in the Dominican Republic it was not legal and in Canada they did not grant visas to new travelers (and it was impossible to obtain an appointment in the embassy). Difficult moments. When they found out that there was a “perfect” possibility of getting married in Buenos Aires and fulfilling that great dream, they contacted Fabulous Weddings… and on Friday, July 8, 2022 they were able to form a real family and begin a great new chapter in life.
